瑞秋知道了莫妮卡和錢德勒的事情，想讓莫妮卡自己說出來，但是莫妮卡壹直遮遮掩掩；莫妮卡陪錢德勒去工作聚餐，覺得錢德勒拍馬屁的時候很尷尬；羅斯和珍妮斯約會，珍妮斯受不了羅斯抱怨的性格。

Bump into ：無意中遇到、碰到
Strip ：脫去衣服、除去、連環畫、條狀
Chandler: And Doug wants us to play tennis with them. He’s never even talked to me outside of work.?
Except for that time when we bumped into each other at that strip club.
道格想約我們去玩網球，他工作之外從沒有約我出去玩過，除了那次我們在脫衣舞俱樂部偶遇。
（錢德勒約莫妮卡參加公司聚會，莫妮卡很受寵）

Chandler: Do you have a tennis racquet ?
妳還有網球拍嗎？
（錢德勒問瑞秋借網球拍，因為自己的借給喬伊被他拿去公園砸石頭弄壞了）

Monica: I thought you had to do inventory all day.
我以為妳今天要盤點呢。
（瑞秋發現莫妮卡的事情，抽空中午回來和莫妮卡談心）

Basted ：樹的內皮
Carved ：有雕刻的
Monica: Those birds are browned , basted and ready to be carved !
這些菜雞簡直就是待宰的羔羊。
（錢德勒和上司相約打網球，莫妮卡勝負心崛起讓老板很難堪，錢讓莫收斂壹點）

Hooked up ：與……掛鉤
Joey: He hooked up with someone.
他有艷遇了。
（羅斯晚歸大家很擔心他是不是因為艾米麗結婚受打擊，喬伊說他就是出去艷遇了）

Gullible ：易受騙的、輕信的
Chandler: She is really gullible .
她可真好騙。
（莫妮卡說自己在錢德勒這裏打掃衛生，沒有和他發生什麽）

Whine ：發牢騷、抱怨
Janice：I just don’t think I can take another second of you whining !
我覺得我再也受不了聽妳訴苦了。
（珍妮斯受不了羅斯喜歡抱怨）
