break into和break in的區別
壹、break into與break in都作“闖入；強行進入；破門而入”之意時的區別如下：
break into是及物動詞短語，後面要接賓語。例如：
He broke into the office to see his boss.
他強行進入辦公室去見老板。
break in是不及物動詞短語，後面不能接賓語。例如：
Masked robbers broke in and made off with $8,000.
蒙面盜賊們破門而入偷走了$8000。
二、break into 還有如下意思：
“突然開始 (做某事)”，
The moment she was out of sight she broke into a run.
她壹走出視線就突然開始跑。
“成功打入 (某行業、某領域)”，作及物動詞短語用。
She finally broke into films after an acclaimed stage career.
她在備受贊賞的舞臺生涯後終於成功打入了電影界。
三、break in還有如下意思：
“打斷 (談話、思路、活動)”，作不及物動詞短語用。
Don't break in on my thoughts. 別打斷我的思路。“適應 (新工作或新情況)”，作及物動詞短語用。
Do you break in your new job
妳適應妳的新工作嗎？
“磨合”，作及物動詞短語用。
When you break in the?engine, you mustn't drive too fast.?
在妳磨合發動機時，開車不能太快。
