全詩如下：
妳若不離不棄，我必生死相依。
妳若棄我而去，我必投湖自盡。
妳若身陷危急，我必以命相抵。
妳若駕鶴西去，我必忠貞不渝。
白話釋義：“妳若不離不棄我必生死相依”主要指男女雙方愛情的誓言:如果妳不離開我不拋棄我，那麽無論妳是生是死我都壹定會追隨妳.大白話的意思就是只要妳還要我不離開我，我就能做到妳活著我陪在妳身邊，妳死了我也不活了，是見證愛情的宣言。
