全球語（Globish）值得推廣麽
如果妳第壹次到世界各國旅行，妳會為自己所學的英文而汗顏。妳自認為能聽懂BBC、VOA，可妳就是無法聽懂非洲英語，無法聽懂印度英語。人們說，英語出生在英國，成長在美國，死亡在印度。世界上用英語的國家很多，但各國的英語差別很大，不但是發音，文法也是如此。但總的趨勢是，英語越來越簡單，越來越不受文法的束縛。
為了方便世界各國講不同英語的人以及那些以英語為非母語的人的溝通交流，IBM前副總裁、法國人Jean Paul Nerriere 發明了全球語（Globish）。全球語舍棄了所有英文成語和慣用語，只用1500個簡單英文單詞，加上壹些手語，就可以表達所有的意思。如廚房不是Kitchen，而是room in which you cook your food.
Nerriere先生認為，嚴格地講，全球語不是語言，只是壹種便捷的交流工具，以方便英語是非主流語言國家的人互相溝通、交流，起目的並不是傳播文化，要想讀懂莎士比亞的作品，必須認真學習傳統的英語，要想和中國人做生意，學了全球語就可以了。
下面是傳統英語和全球語對照的例子：English:I want to my niece and nephew’s party the other weekend. I played the piano and we were all singing along when a mouse ran out from behind the sofa with a piece of peach in its mouth.
Globish:At the party of my brother’s children the other day, I played an instrument with black and white keys and we all sang along. Then an animal chased by cats ran out from behind the seat with a piece of fruit in its mouth.
妳看，全球語實際上就是用簡單的詞匯來替代壹些復雜的或不常用的詞匯，更像是字典裏的解釋。妳看，如果全球語流行的話，收益最大的應該是中國人了。
盡管Nerriere先生努力宣傳、推廣他這套全球語，到目前為止，多數人還無法接受。
有人認為：Not everyone in this world understands English. No matter how much you simplify English, it is still alien to some ppl. Even if you speak to someone who knows English, youmight face difficulties in communication. So, human n body language may be most effective.
也有人說：It is the French’s idea, spoil the beauty of English language. Ha, ha.
更有人提出：The most useful language is the universal human language. For example chicken, u make kok, kok sound n fold ur hand like chicken wing.
當然，也有人支持Nerriere先生的這壹創意，認為：表達，重要的是對方能明白。
