lie的用法

壹、lie表示“撒謊”的意思時

1、可以用做名詞，表示謊言；假話

I've had enough of your lies...

我已經聽夠了妳的謊言。

2、可以做動詞，搭配有lie about sth 關於...撒謊；lie to sb，對某人撒謊，騙人

I know he's lying...

我知道他在說謊。

3、lie 動名詞lying，表示“撒謊”的行為

Lying is something that I will not tolerate.

我絕對不能容忍撒謊這樣的行為。

二、lie表示“躺著” 的意思時

1、做動詞，躺；平臥

There was a child lying on the ground.

2、被平放
