On Guo Huaruo’s Major Contribution to the Studies of Sun Tzu

Guo Huaruo is a well-known senior general and an outstanding military theorist of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. He has obtained great achievements in the academic research of Sun Zi and the masterpiece of the Art of War, which won his reputation as an authority on the study of Sun Tzu’s Art of War. This article is to recall and summarize the general’s major contributions to the academic studies on Sun Tzu’s Art of War in four aspects.
